Software Inventory Report

Endpoint Software Inventory Report

Description

This is a report to show all operating systems (separating servers and workstations), Microsoft Office Product versions, Software Inventory Totals, and Software Inventory details to the endpoint.
I have created a lot of filters so you do not have to. The report part, as it is in VSA, shows everything installed... including drivers, service packs, freeware, updates, etc.
I already exclude many items that is not important to an inventory. The report is ready as it is but you can tweak and improve it based on your needs.

Hi there!  Is there a way to discern whether the Office version installed is 32bit or 64bit through the reporting?

I was looking for way to find this but its not possible with this report. That information you are looking for is in the registry but in different locations for 32 and 64 bit versions. It is possible to write an Agent Procedure to query those locations then put the result in a custom field. I will add that as a future feature of this report but I need some time to get that done.

    Hi Sidney,

When I upload the xml file to our saas vsa it doesn't show up at all.  No errors are showing up. Tried it several times.

It should show up in a Shared folder called Standard Reports in Info Center. Do you see the import entry in the Import Center? look all the way to the right on that entry and see if it reports any errors there.

It looks like the important part of the screenshot didn't show... here is the other half that shows the error...
