I get an error upon import.

The file you are trying to import is not formatted correctly. It contains invalid XML.

Worked for me but open the XML in notepad, select all, copy and paste in that import window instead and see if that works for you.

ok.  Let me re-submit a new XML file to Kaseya.  May take a bit for them to approve and post.

Unable to import this xml. I'm getting the same error as Samuel. I've tried pasting from notepad too.

    For your errors:

There are a few ampersands on the Body and Procedure lines.  Change the "&" to "&" in both sections, there are 3 in total, and this should validate.

Thanks for the input MarkD but it still wont import after those 3 changes for me.

I take that back. The file also had a line of text at the top which when removed allowed it to import.

    Well done MarkD !!

Mine worked after removing the line that says Computer is a "DELL" system. I removed the quotes around it.

It took all 3 changes from Mark, Glen and Josh to work for me:

    DELETED top line:
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

    REPLACED:
    "&" with "&" all 3 of them

TOOK OUT QUOTES FROM AROUND WORD "DELL":
    <Parameter xsi:type="StringParameter" name="Comment" value="Computer is an DELL system. Continuing..."/>

Good job Mark, Glen and Josh!

I used command update and checked the drivers needed before I ran the procedure and there were 7 Drivers needed.  I then ran the procedure.  I waited 2 hours for the completion.  I then restarted the PC.  I then ran command update again and the same 7 drivers were listed again as needing installation.  The procedure was listed as a success in kaseya when running.  I am not really sure where I went wrong.

I made the changes and ran the procedure just fine on my test laptop. But it appears that it only installed the critical updates and not the recommended ones. Is there any way I can change that so that both the critical and recommended updates get installed via Dell Command Update?
