Paste Passwords in Kaseya Remote Control (KRC)

Paste Passwords in KRC (Updated Q2 2020)

This agent procedure downloads the latest version of AutoHotKey (AHK) and silently installs it on Windows endpoints. You only need to install this on computers that the VSA Admins are using to paste passwords from.
Also included, is an AHK script file that allows you to paste to the KRC session’s login screen using the middle mouse button. AutoHotKey and the included AHK file is especially useful when having to enter long complex passwords to remote machines.

I take no credit for the script, I simply found it on Reddit and changed it to use the middle mouse button.

• Special thanks to wogmail on Reddit... his script used the F3 key which didn't work with KRC but if you change it to MButton then it works. (Altered script included)

• Also, wanted to thank Aspect ICT ( for posting the original AutoHotKey post on the Automation Exchange (

While it works, some use the middle mouse button to close tabs in browsers, etc (default configs), in which case it pastes the clipboard where it can in the page instead of closing the tab.  It would be nice if there was something else in addition (maybe CTRL+middle mouse or something).
